I am trying to bake sugar cookies but the recipe I am using says to bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes. My oven only goes to 200. Could someone help me and tell me what to do?
Best Answer
Set your oven to 175, because it's in Celsius and the recipe is in Fahrenheit.

Spoon and level that flour or, better yet, weigh your flour. If your cookies are still spreading, add an extra 2 Tablespoons of flour to the cookie dough. Don't overmix the cookie dough ingredients. The simple answer to this question is, meet in the middle. Cookies should (almost) always be baked on the middle rack of the oven. The middle rack offers the most even heat and air circulation which helps cookies bake consistently.Should I use a higher or lower temperature for baking my cookies?
A low temperature and longer baking time yields crisper, thinner cookies; a higher temperature and shorter baking time makes softer, thicker cookies.Homemade Bread for Beginners - Easy
