How do you make popcorn with "indian corn"
I bought a couple ears of this corn at the farmers market and the woman at the stand said to throw it in the microwave. Does anybody know how long it should be in the microwave for?
Best Answer
When popcorn pops, it makes a distinctive popping sound (unsurprisingly). I would microwave the ear of corn until the pops come about ten seconds apart - at this point, you're well into the tail of the normal distribution which describes how long it takes each kernel to pop. If the corn doesn't pop after about two minutes, it probably won't pop at all.
