re: reboiling ghee - A Few Slogans on Healthy Living Printed on Bond Papers

We reboiled our ghee as we thought that we didn't get all the milk out. When we did this the ghee turned clear and then when it cooled off it was white like lard. No butter smell either. Is that usable now.

Can you Recook ghee?

I don't think there is any downside to heating it again. Note that the brown bits come from milk solids so if you've already removed those (e.g., scraped them off), then you're just stuck with clarified butter.

Can you undercook ghee?

Ghee is so easy to make at home but its also easy to burn it, or on the other hand, if you are scared of burning it,remove it from the heat too soon and as a result the butter doesn't cook properly causing the entire ghee to spoil.

make GHEE, Make and can Regular (standard) and darker, amber ghee. 2 types of ghee
