I was making fudge. It called for white sugar and brown sugar to be added to butter and whipping cream. Bring to boil, cook for 5 minutes, THEN stir in confectioners sugar. I messed up and added the confectioners sugar with the other 2 before cooking!! Will my fudge still set up??

Can you add pecans to fudge?
Fudge is a classic holiday treat that I love gifting to friends and neighbors. This year I whipped up something a little bit different, Butter Pecan Fudge! It's creamy, buttery, and loaded with toasted pecans. Be careful though, it's a bit addicting! What does Penuche fudge taste like?
Penuche often has a tannish color, and is lighter than regular fudge. It is formed by the caramelization of brown sugar; thus, its flavor is said to be reminiscent of caramel. Nuts, especially pecans, are often added to penuche for texture, especially in the making of penuche candies.Does fudge need evaporated or condensed milk?
Unfortunately, you cannot use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk in fudge. You can substitute evaporated milk for regular milk in many instances, but it will not give the same rich, creamy taste that you get from the sweetened condensed milk. What does cream of tartar do in fudge?
Many bakers use cream of tartar in their recipes to help set the fudge. The cream of tartar helps the fudge to set by breaking the sugar's sucrose into glucose and fructose, thereby making crystallization of the fudge less possible. This helps the fudge remain soft and chewy.Southern Butter Pecan Fudge Homemade Recipe | Southern Sassy Mama
